The association behind the Climatorium has been established and it will be managed by a very strong and powerful board, consisting of members within the climate and water sector.

The purpose of the association is to create an environment where local challenges will lead to growth through a fruitful network with high competences within research and innovation.

Excellent selection of board members

Furthermore the association will inspire and attract visitors from within Denmark as well as abroad which no doubt will help Danish export and lead to new business. This is something all board members agree with.

The director of the board, Jørgen Nørby says “this is an extremely important step. Once the association has been formally established, then we can start the actual work and we will start seeing the results”.

The Climatorium has already attracted great interest from as far away as New Zealand and had a delegation visiting earlier in the year.

Not surprisingly the board members consist of a range of people from Lemvig municipality, being the mayor Erik Flyvholm, deputy mayor Kenneth Bro. From Lemvig Utility the president Steffen Damsgaard and vice president Ole Byskov. From Århus university vice-dean Kurt Nielsen and from VIA university College, Research manager Lotte Thøgersen.

“Climatorium has already proven great results and now we can take it up a notch” Jørgen Nørby says.
